What You'll Need

Older Adults (65+)

If you qualify on age and your 2025 income is $41,000 or less, please bring proof of age like a copy of a driver's license, birth certificate, state identification card, or other government issued identification card.

Disabled Persons (Non-Veteran)

If you qualify based on Disability and your 2025 income is $41,000 or less, please provide a completed Certificate of Disability for the Homestead Exemption (DTE105E) or a current certificate from a state or federal agency, such as the Social Security Administration.

Disabled Veterans

If you qualify based as a disabled veteran, please provide a copy of your DD214 and Summary of Benefit letter stating 100% service connected disability rating or 100% compensation rating and date of onset of disability.

Spouses of Fallen Public Service Officers

Please provide a letter, issued by a pension fund or the employing agency, confirming the public service officer was killed in the line of duty.
